Imo West Senatorial District:Chief Charles Ahize Of Labour Party Receives Greenlight From Ohaji|Egbema, Inaugurates Ward Coordinators

LP candidate Charles Ahize receives green light from Ohaji/Egbema, as he inaugurates ward coordinators
It was indeed a satisfactory feelers from the food basket and oil rich kingdom of Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of lmo State as the Labour Party candidate for lmo West Senatorial District (Orlu zone), Chief Charles Ugochukwu Ahize (AKPURUKA), apparently tested another round of waters, to reportedly determine his fate and way to engage the electorate in the area ahead of the February 25, 2023 general elections.
Chief Ahize who had long made his consultations to ascertain the chances of his ambition to represent his good people of Orlu zone at the red Chambers of the National Assembly, however, took another round of the journey this time to engage the people of the 12 LGAs of Orlu zone in a town hall meeting for a direction towards his aspiration, even as he used the opportunity to inaugurate male and female individuals who volunteered themselves to work as his ward coordinators ahead of the February polls.
Speaking at the event at Umuagwo Community School, Ohaji, in Ohaji/Egbema LGA, the Director-General, Charles Ahize Campaign Organization, Dr Sir Charles Ubah, stated that the essence of the visit was to ascertain the level of the people’s acceptance of the the Recovery Mandate as well as inaugurate the 11Ward coordinators that will do the finishing job at the grassroots level.He enjoined the people of the area who turned out in their numbers to vote all candidates of Labour Party, noting that without that sequence of voting, the Labour Party may not achieve her desired goal at the polls.He further enjoined them not to be deceived by misinformation of selective voting, as he therefore inaugurated the 39 members of the LGA ward coordinators of the Recovery team in grand style.
In his own speech, the spokesperson of the Campaign team, Dr Batos Nwadike (Oyiga), described the Labour Party candidate as a a good product.He further described Chief Ahize as true son of lhioma Orlu, a community leader and accomplished entrepreneur of over 3 decades, whom he said has built halls, church for his home people, as well as offered scholarships and sponsored talents abroad, noting that now the people of Orlu zone have beckoned on him to throw his hat in the ring for a better Orlu zone, according to Oyiga, no sentiment of legislative ranking will stop a man whose time has come.
Dr Nwadike, expressed confidence that if elected a Federal Lawmaker, Chief Ahize will attract infrastructure and other dividends of democracy to the largest zone in lmo State.Nwadike, however, described Chief Ahize as candidate with the reach, influence, courage and capacity, adding that as one of the lgbo leaders he has used his position as the President General of Obigbo to defend the cause of lgbos in Lagos State and beyond, especially, according to Oyiga, Ahize was the man who led Ladipo market demonstration against evil said to have been meted out to Orlu people and that of ndigbo.He urged the people of Ohaji/Egbema to keep a date with Ahize on the election day and ensure they make what he mockingly described as ‘PD-APC’ blind with their votes to enthrone good governance from bottom to top.
Addressing the mammoth crowd at the event, the Labour Party Senatorial candidate, Chief Charles Ahize, informed the people of Ohaji/Egbema not succumb to the monetary gratification of the ruling party, APC and other parties to sell their birthright, observing only 3 months of endurance to end the era of bad governance both in the country and down the State, adding that good name begets good result, stressing that they people should boldly reject the parties that had blindfolded them with many years of misrule. He expressed strong confidence they people will recover their mandate through Mr Peter Obi in 2023.He cited the recent Osun State election as an example of what will happen in Nigeria, come 2023, where he said, the masses won amidst intimidation.
A community leader in Ohaji/Eghema, Hon Okoro, disabused the people’s minds that Ohali/Egbema is not Labour Party compliant, asserting that Ohaji/Egbema people are desirous of supporting the party in winning her elections at the polls.He reported that after assessing the Labour Party hopeful, he was found fit and proper, adding that Chief Charles Ahize parades a clear record, according to Okoro, the LP having impacted so many lives in Ohaji/Egbema.
“It is your turn! We are like pentecostal churches, who believe so much in their master.Bad leadership and representation have caused us so many bad roads.We need to recover Ohaji/Egbema, hence, we stand firm to join your recovery train.indeed, you’re a good product that sells itself! You shall pay you back for your kindness and philanthropy”.
Other speakers at the event including, the Chairman of the Ohaji/Egbema Labour Party, Mr Chijioke; Coordinator of Ahize Campaign Organization, Ohaji/Egbema, Hon Barr Eric Nwanom, described the Labour Party candidate and a man with large heart that has destined to rescue Orlu zone from obscure leadership representation, vowing to work out their hearts to deliver him as the next Senator for the zone, come 2023.
The event was also attended by other Ohaji/Egbema prominent sons and daughters including Prof Kyrian Nwaimo; Hon AU Nwosu, Hon Dr (Mrs) Uwana, Rosemary Nwoha, Chief Collins Odunze, Ex-Councillors, youths, women leaders, community leaders among others.
It will recalled that the Orlu Senatorial District Labour Party hopeful, Chief Charles Ahize has recently visited and inaugurated coordinators of his Recovery mandate 2023, where he visited,Njaba, Oru East, Nwangele,Nkwerre and Oru West before touring Ohaji/Egbema.It is reported that Orsu Council area will play host to the personable Labour Party candidate any moment this week as the grand finale and possibly serve as campaign kick off ground for the Recovery team.It was reported that the visits by Chief Ahize had yielded positive result as his name has continued to rent the air in the 12 LGAs of Orlu zone.
