Chief Charles Ahize, Senatorial Candidate Of Labour Party Embarks On Repairs Of Umuagwo/Umuapu Dilapidated Roads, Inspects Project With Imo Assembly Member

LABOUR PARTY SENATORIAL CANDIDATE, CHIEF CHARLES AHIZE EMBARKS ON REPAIRS OF ÙMÙAGWÓ/ÚMÚAPÚ DILAPIDATED ROAD, INSPECTS PROJECT WITH IMO ASSEMBLY MEMBER

In what appeared like an unofficial oversight function in exercising his legislative duties if elected by the grace of God, the frontline candidate of Labour Party for Imo West Senatorial District and rave of the moment, Chief Charles Ugochukwu Ahize-Chukwu, last weekend; Friday, January 20, 2023, led a select members of his campaign organization to the Ùmùagwó/Úmúapú dilapidated road project site where he has given directives for the grading of the road that has become a nightmare to motorists and other commercial road users.

The massive turnout that greeted his arrival by members of the community was a loud testimony of the grassroots appeal and organic support Chief Charles Ahize and other candidates of Labour Party in Orlu zone are enjoying.

From the President – General of the community down to the youth leader and other leaders of thoughts; all made glowing remarks on the kind gesture of Chief Charles Ahize- a man from whose heart flows the milk of human kindness; maintaining that he is the sign of better things to come in the Imo West Senatorial District.

Speaking during the road inspection tour, LGA Chairman of Labour Party in Ohaji/Egbema , Hon. Chijioke Oshimmiri, eulogized the kind-heartedness and exemplary leaderhip style of Chief Charles Ahize ; who is a well known philnatropist, activist and established entrepreneur even before his fora into partisan politics. He advised all political office holders as well as the seekers to emulate the community – development driven disposition of Chief Charles Ahize; which is way beyond political campaigns as he had done quite alot for the upliftment of society and humanity without noise unlike those who pay lips service during electioneering season to seek the people’s mandate.

In his own words, the LGA Party Chair said:

“ Today is a day of joy to the good people of Ohaji/Egbema both APC and PDP because everybody passes through this road. Today, we can see an Orlu son who has not tested any political power yet, he is using his personal resources to repair and maintain some bad spot – roads in Orlu zone whereas; those who held sway over the years couldn’t boast of citing any meaningful projects in the senatorial zone they represented at the National Assembly. “

He however, recalled in nostalgia that during the raining season, the challenges commercial drivers and other road users wade through along the Ùmùagwó/Úmúapú dilapidated road, can make anyone to shed tears. Nonetheless, with the measure as put in place by Labour Party’s senatorial candidate , Charles Ahize, this nightmare is over while promising that the communities would reciprocate such gesture with their votes come February 25, 2023, at the polls.

Comr. JohnCliff Ogbuehi, Labour Party Orlu Zonal youth leader and vice -national president of Ohaji/Egbema Youths, commended the frontline candidate of Labour Party for Imo West Senatorial District, High Chief Charles Ugochukwu Ahize-Chukwu, for the ongoing radical road revolution- repairs and maintenance he has embarked on at personal cost without having to wait until he is sworn -in as Orlu Senator before taking – off.

Citing the Umudu Umualum ring road; Umualum Umuapu Apani road; and Umuapu Akanu Ihie road; the three major link – roads between Ùmùagwó and Úmúapú communities which Distinguished High Chief Charles Ahize has embarked on even at personal cost without waiting for the elections to be over, is a pointer to the fact that the frontline senatorial hopeful, Charles Ahize, has a bouyant heart to develop Orlu zone if given the slightest opportunity to serve unlike the other man who spent his 8 years in the National Assembly having good time at his luxurious Transcorp Hilton & Sheraton apartments in Abuja.

A respected community leader in Ùmùagwó, Chief A. U. Nwosu, while commending the rural development- driven gesture of Chief Charles Ahize, maintained that: “ He is our illustrious son in whom we are well pleased. “ He therefore, prayed for God’s protection over him and members of his Campaign Team, assuring him of the support and solidarity of Ùmùagwó community whom he made proud by grading their road unlike other contestants who only come with their usual baggage of misleading empty political promises.

Ironically, while the Labour Party’s frontline senatorial hopeful for Orlu zone, Chief Charles Ahize, is busy with his tangible and practical people – oriented community – development projects across Orlu communities; his now jittery rival in the race- the APC senatorial candidate, has clandestinely unleashed his paid WhatsApp /online media -warriors with all manner of political tirade and campaign of calumny just to distract him.

Nonetheless, a strong character like ` Charley Akpuruka, is Akpuruka enough`, not to be deterred by such puerile and infantile media engagement as he targets some bad spot roads in Nwangele LGA for repairs, trusting in his solid connections at the NDDC to fix a number of dilapidated roads in Orlu communities to the glory of God!

While Chief Charles Ahize may be consistently railed at by naysayers seeking to draw him into undue political brickbats as the campaigns for next month’s election intensify, but the frontline Orlu senatorial candidate who has been tipped as the possible winner in the forthcoming February 25, 2023 general elections, by unbiased independent opinion polls, seems to be focused squarely on his developmental agenda.

The tireless Labour Party’s frontline candidate and rave of the moment in Orlu Senatorial zone, Chief Charles Ahize; during another inspection tour on Sunday, January 22, 2023 , was accompanied by the member representing Ohaji/Egbema State Constituency, Hon. Heclus Okoro , promised to work with the people to build a prosperous future for Orlu youths, and available evidence of massive investment in social infrastructure, business development and social security validates the feeling that this remains his priority.

Refusing to abandon projects he initiated , Charles Ahize has sought to link roads in Orlu communities in the state for business to thrive, and made the choice of making the oil -rich Orlu Senatorial zone an attractive industrial- hub for both local and international businesses leveraging on his social contacts , spread and exposure as an established entrepreneur. He therefore, called on Ohaji/Egbema youths to ignore those who only use them to achieve their political ambition during electioneering season , but challenged them to close ranks and join hands with Peter Obi, himself and others to deliver all Labour Party’s candidates in the February 25, 2023 general elections.
