Breaking News: President Muhammadu Buhari Officially Unveils The New Naira Notes

President Muhammadu Buhari has unveiled the new naira notes.

Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday morning, November 23, 2022, officiall unveiled the new currency notes before the federal executive council (FEC) meeting at the state house, Abuja.

 

 

Godwin Emefiele, governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (BN), was in attendance during the unveiling ceremony.

4th Estate Reporters gathered that the new currency notes will be into circulation from December 15th, 2022 , while the old Naira redesigned notes will cease to be legal tender by January 31st, 2023.
